Excessive Media Use in Times of Netflix.

“Binge-Watching”: Motives, Experiences, and Effects on Sleep

The constant availability of movies and series online affects our watching habits and often leads to prolonged, sometimes even excessive media use.

How do we experience intense viewing sessions?
And how does this behavior affect our sleep and well-being?

This research project, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, aims to find answers to these questions.
